Starting from a free blog
I started with a free blog from Wordpress.com and after earning enough cash from it with the help of SL, I bought my own domain and host which is Chino Yray dot Com. Getting a domain and a host is such a good decision if you plan on earning money from blogging. Why? This is to build credibility and to be true to what you blog about. Since I am blogging about making money from free lindens in Second Life, it’s only obvious that if I make money, I should be able to buy myself a domain and web host. I got this chinoyray.com for $40 per year including the domain from Marvinsweb.
Blogging about free lindens
This is my big break. I searched the keyword “free lindens” in google.com and the results I found were not even related to earning free lindens. That page is the “Free Linden Phone Sex” from Linden Lifestyles. I took the opportunity to blog about free lindens, earning free lindens, making money from Second Life and the rest is history (if you can call 3 months a history). If you blog about a lot of stuff and if your blog has no main focus topic or niche, it will be hard for your readers what do you really blog about and if they will subscribe or become a loyal reader.
Making a free lindens list
Without doubt, almost every visitor of Earn Free Lindens visits the Free Lindens list, where you can find all the credible networks, offers and etc that gives free lindens. They are all tested by me as well. This is to make sure that what I recommend really does give you free linden dollars. The free lindens list is like the summary page. I know that website visitors are lazy enough to read such long posts like this one unless they want to learn more from me. But we all know, those who become successful from earning free lindens always visit and reads Chino Yray dot Com. 
Monetizing the blog!
Yes, you see Google Ads all over my site. Some people don’t like it and most really don’t mind if they are there. However, do you know that just for August 2007, I earned $112.52 from those ads and it’s not yet even the end of August.
Do not listen to those who don’t like your Ads. They are not helping you earn money anyway, listen to them if they plan to buy an ad spot from you and will definitely double the pay. Even if they say they will not return to your website because of the Ads, believe me, they will be back because they read your entries. So I really monetized my blog. I did not even stick to just one advertiser. I have Kontera for post-level-ads and ReviewMe for those paid reviews, where I already earned $210 US dollars already that you see in the Reviews.
What’s the next step for Chino Yray?
Well, I plan to revive my personal blog. It has been dead since I started blogging about the free linden industry of SL. My personal blog is titled, “Chino Yray’s Blog” and it’s pretty much a give away that it is my blog. My Personal blog already received 20,000 page views and visitors since Monday (yes only yesterday). It just so happen that after blogging about the 2007 Nursing Board Exams Result in the Philippines, it got 10,765 page views yesterday and another 10,000 today. I am looking forward to seeing more PVs and visitors on the coming days.

Yahoo Mail now out of Beta with free SMS to the Philippines!
Yahoo wants you to use their mail application whenever you contact your friends, however you contact them. In addition to emailing or instant messaging clients, you can now send them a text message from the mail interface. Their responses also come in directly to Yahoo Mail. It currently works for U.S., India, Philippines and Canadian mobile numbers.
You?ll need to switch to the new Yahoo! Mail in order to send messages to phones in those four countries mentioned. Your contact should also have a valid mobile phone in their profile. Yahoo! Messenger is also integrated in the new Outlook-like interface.
Although, I checked my Yahoo! Mail and it is still in the Beta interface, I guess we Yahoo! users should wait for a while before they roll it out to us.

2007 Nursing Board Exam Result SEO effect
8 hours ago, I posted the nursing board exams result post here at Chino Yray’s blog (my blog) which you can check out here and after 8 hours of that post, this site receive 1,276 pageviews and 2,196 clicks. For those who make money online through blogging, this is a great hit!
Before I continue, I want to congratulate my nursing friends namely, Benjamin Asiddao Jr, Mardelyn Elena G. Beltran, Jasper Macabulos, Maria Corazon Echas, and all those I know that passed the board exams, congratulations!
Ok, moving on. I first saw the 2007 Nursing Board Exam Result effect at Yugatech.com and realized, why not get a share of that traffic. And bam! the result was enormous. You can see on the left image from mybloglog.com that I received 1,276 page views and 2,196 clicks. That is a WOW!
What I did was put a WTF! on Technorati since nobody else did. Like what John Chow said, evil people think ahead. I secured a spot in Google.com by posting a wtf! about the 2007 nursing board exams result and after 8 hours, thousands of PVs and clicks. It’s really amazing what SEO can do for a blog.
