Why?

Well… chinoyray.com was supposedly my personal site until back in 2007, I figured that no one was writing about free lindens in Second Life. So I changed it to a money making blog. ChinoYray.com has given me lots of things that I should be thankful for.

First is my job. My current work right now is because of my blogging. I was discovered/hired because the company knows that I can write, create contests, promos and events. I did not take Marketing or Business Administration in College but because I can do those things… they hired me. (lucky for me!)

But I have to move on. ChinoYray.com has been stuck in 2007 – 2008, the good years or probably the Golden Age of Second Life and Blogging. A lot of people started blogging during those years as well.

Moving on with SLlindens.com and SamHok.com

To avoid confusion and since not all subscribers or readers want everything, you now have a choice. If you just want Second Life, free lindens, contests and events in-world, go to SLlindens.com. The first of the many tournaments for Level Up! Live 2011 has been announced. Starting with Allods Online: Warlords Tournament. This also indicates that DTI has finally approved the mechanics for the tournaments. So expect the other Level Up! games to announce their own tournament mechanics really soon.

As of 12:20pm of May 3, 2011 we’ve finished the upgrade and fix for the forums

The whole downtime was due to the migration of the forum database to a better hardware that will be able to handle the load the forums receive every day.

How to get to Kirah?

Kirah, the past of Allods, is the new level 42+ map to be explored by the adventurers to know the key points in history and progression of the current Allods.

To go to Kirah you must first reach level 42. Just like in Gipat, you will be given a mysterious letter by your capital’s Postal Worker.

Step 1: Get the Mysterious letter and open it to start a quest.

Step 2: One you have started the quest; go to Coba Plateau to speak with the Mysterious Director

Step 3: Turn in the quest of the Mysterious letter and take the Crossroads quest.

Step 4: Go to the Ancient June Ruins in Gipat to travel to the Crossroads.

Once you have reached the Crossroads, speak again to the Guide/Mysterious Director.

Get to know more on how to travel to Kirah.

Acquire the quest to go to the Astral Graveyard.

Return to the Ancient June Ruins and choose to go to the Astral Graveyard.

Go to the middle of the Astral Graveyard to activate the Incineratus to summon the monster needed to acquire the quest item.

You will need this item to activate the Incineratus.

There are 12 incineratus around the altar.

Once activated you can summon a monster via the altar in the middle

The strength of the summoned monster depends on the number of incineratus activated

3 Incineratus activated:

6 Incineratus activated:

9 Incineratus activated:

12 Incineratus Activated:

These summoned monsters drop the item needed to travel to Kirah – the Ashes of the Past

The drop rate depends on the monster summoned. The stronger the monster the more Ashes of the Past will be dropped.

After gathering 4 ashes return to the guide in the Crossroads and turn in the quest.

Now you can will have a daily quest that will allow you to give the guide one ash in exchange for passage to Kirah.

Jump to the lake and click on the whirlpool to travel to Kirah.

And now you are in Kirah, The Land of the Past.

If you wish to return to the crossroads, you can jump again in the lake and travel via the whirlpool in the middle.
