Photography - Using Red head for a more dramatic look.

Thanks to Japet, I now have a new picture for my friendster profile.
Anyway, my photo was taken by Japet using a Red head and a bounced flash (standard flash for cameras). Why did we used a bounced flash and only one studio light?
A complete setup with 3 to 4 lights won’t give the same effect and will definitely makes it look flat. However, using one source of light and another just to fill is different. This gives dimension and a 3D effect to the subject. On this case, I am the subject.
