The Smart Bro, broadband connection adventure after the storm.
I think almost everyone of us Smart Bro, a wireless internet service provider(ISP), subscribers encounter this.
Everytime that there will be storms approaching our lovely country called “Philippines”, at least one Smart Bro subscriber will have the trouble of getting no connection at all. Unfortunately, I think I am the lucky one. My connection has been busted for over a week now. What’s even worse is, Smart’s customer support seems like having some trouble as well. Just waiting for some customer support agent to attend to me already took 30 minutes of waiting. The good side of the half hour wait is, (yes I waited for 30 minutes listening to that music you hear on the phone) I got to schedule a visit from their technical team to fix my antenna.
3 days later after calling 672-7277 (Smart Bro’s hotline. No use giving them prank calls too.) Where is the technical team that will fix my antenna? Don’t tell me I have to call them again and wait for another 30 minutes just for someone to attend to me.
Anyway, I think I still have to do the same. However, I’ve decided already. After my one year subscription (luckily this September of 2007), I think I have to get a better ISP. The only reason I stayed is because comparing to other ISP here in the Philippines, Smart BRO is faster. But with this? They changed my mind.
